Memories Revealed is an artistic exhibition that seeks, based on memory studies and the reconstruction of personal archives, to question the conditions of oppression imposed on women by patriarchal society, through the production of three artistic works. For the construction of the works, photomechanical processes were used, emphasizing the materiality of time within the creative process. This technique offers an opportunity to deconstruct and reconstruct visual narratives present in these archives, challenging the traditional representations of some women in society. In this way, the investigation into the objects and photographs chosen to create the works was conducted to understand the symbolic systems, discourses and performativities present in them, aiming at the construction of new meanings guided by poetic establishment. Thus, the project seeks not only to question current oppressive norms, but also to create a space for the expression and redefinition of female identities, using art as a tool for this purpose.
